Biography of RA Kartini
Ajeng Raden Kartini was born in 1879 in the town of Apex. He is son of a nobleman who was very obedient to the customs. After graduating from elementary school he was not allowed to continue their education to higher levels by the parents. He secluded while waiting period for marriage. Small Kartini very sad with this, he wanted to resist but did not dare for fear of being considered rebellious child. To relieve his grief, he gathered up textbooks and other science books and then read in a garden home in the company of Simbok (aides).

scholarship had not gotten used Kartini because he married by her parents with Raden Duke Joyodiningrat. After marriage she joined her husband to the Apex area. Her husband understood Kartini and supporting women to establish a school. Thanks to the persistence of Kartini successfully established the School for Women in Semarang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Malang, Madiun, Cirebon and other areas. The school name is "School Kartini". On 17 September 1904, Kartini died at the age of 25, after she gave birth to his first son.
